biblatex is a LaTeX package for bibliographies and references. It works with the traditional BibTeX program as well as with the relatively new biber, which has UTF-8 support and several further advantages over BibTeX. You can find more information on LaTeX and BibTeX on my LaTeX pages.

On this webpage, I present my biblatex citation styles that are primarily suitable for the humanities.

  • Currently, biblatex-dw consists of two styles. Both of them provide additional options which are meant to ease the use of the settings (the author's font format, for instance) and provide functions that are not available in the standard biblatex stlyes (e.g. the substitution of successive identical authors with idem).
  • The style historische-zeitschrift provides citations according to the guidelines of the German historical journal Historische Zeitschrift.

My own styles are also available from CTAN. They are developed as open source, the source code is available from sourceforge, where you can also file bug reports and feature requests.

Finally, I would like to emphasize that any suggestions are highly appreciated.
